In conjunction with the 70th School Anniversary, the Energy Saving Cloud Computing Room at Linkou campus will be opened for public tours on 3 June 2016 (Friday). Free shuttle service will be arranged at the 1st floor of College of Education. All faculty members and students are welcome to sign up for this event.
Timetable for the guided tours:
Morning session (09:50 -11:20) (Shuttle departs at 09:00). Estimated 30 seats on first come first serve basis
Afternoon session (14:50 -16:20) (Shuttle departs at 14:00). Estimated 30 seats on first come first serve basis

漫遊無線網路大福音    設定一次認證就搞定

為讓師生使用校園無線網路更便利,資訊中心推出新的無線網路校園漫遊認證機制,首先設定個人專屬漫遊密碼,並在行動裝置設定連線成功,日後在本校使用無線網路,系統會自動偵測身份驗證,再也不需每次登錄帳號密碼。

In order to make the WiFi access in campus more convenient, the ITC launches a new Campus Wireless Network Roaming Authentication System. First, you need to set your own personal roaming password. Then, access and get connected through this system. When you need to access to WiFi in campus, this system will detect your ID automatically. You no longer need to log on with ID and password every time when accessing to WiFi.

驚!! 帳號將被停用      蛤?? 是釣魚郵件的誘餌

最近又有不少假冒學校或資訊中心名義散發的系統通知郵件,意圖誘騙收件者提供帳號密碼、點選郵件所附的連結或執行附加檔案等形式之「釣魚郵件」,收到主旨類似:「Attention:E-mail User」、「Confirm email」或「更新您的帳戶」等郵件,請直接刪除不要回應,也切勿點選郵件上的連結或開啟附件。<詳全文>

Recently, there are quite a number of scam mails being sent as a system notice with title like: “Attention:E-mail User,” “Confirm email” or “Update your user account,” and so on. The intention of these scam mails is to cheat receivers to provide user ID and password, to click on the link or open the attachment for particular purposes. If you receive emails like them, please delete them directly. Do not respond to the email and do not click on the link or open the attachment.

借用學校空堂教室      上網查詢跨校區搞定

本中心最新開發的「空教室預約現況查詢系統」與教務處開課系統資料同步介接,當學期課程的教室使用狀況、學校各單位或學生社團活動等短期借用教室的狀態,都已經登錄在系統上。透過查詢介面,輸入需預約的時間、場地,即可查詢該場地、該時段是否閒置。若是場地於該時段是閒置的,即可與總務處承辦人員或該場地租借人員聯繫,洽商繳費或預約場地事宜。<詳全文>

With the newly developed “Classroom Reservation System” all university personnel can now check the classroom’s availability and contact the Office of General Affairs to proceed with the reservation procedures.

講解政府文件標準格式     請派員報名相關課程

文件的共通及確保長期能夠讀取,是公部門在選擇文件檔案格式必須列入首要考慮條件之一。因此我國政府單位將大量採用開放檔案格式(Open Document Format, ODF)於政府電子化的相關流程。ODF是一種基於XML的檔案格式規範,因應試算表、圖表、簡報和文書處理文件等電子文件而設置。使用優點有免費下載、格式開放、跨平台、跨應用程式的特性、利於國際間交換、適於長久保存並可避免版本升級衝突等等。本中心將開設配合行政院指示推動ODF-CNS15251為政府文件標準格式的相關課程,屆時請各單位派員參加,以瞭解及更新各單位網頁提供之文書檔案。<詳全文>

When public sectors decide to adopt a standard electronic document format, the long term readability and compatibility with various computer programs are among the most important evaluating factors. Taiwan government decides to adopt and implement Open Document Format (ODF) into governments’ electronic processes. ODF is an XML based file format, used in spread sheets, charts, presentations, word documents. ODF’s advantages are free to use, the standard is open, independent of applications and computing platform, which all makes international exchanging files easy, and makes files easy to be stored long term and ensure the files’ compatibility with future computer programs. In compliance to Executive Yuan’s order, the Information Technology Center will open course explaining the adopted electronic document format (ODF-CNS15251), every department please send representatives to attend and update department websites to provide ODF documents.

Google Apps for NTNU      服務啟動等您來用

Google 提供Gmail電子郵件帳戶、線上儲存空間、共用日曆、即時通訊、視訊會議等服務,獲得大眾普遍使用。目前推出一套整合式通訊及協作解決方案(Google Apps for Education)提供給各級學校使用。Google Apps提供無限容量的空間,可使用套裝工具內的Classroom軟體,教師可透過 Google Apps 建立、收集、批改及發還作業,以及師生之間直接透過 Classroom 存取文件、試算表、簡報等工具軟體進行教學活動,亦可搭配Chromebook應用。本中心業已整合本校帳號密碼認證機制,開放啟用 Google Apps for NTNU 服務,歡迎全校師生及校友使用。 <詳全文>

Google provides email (Gmail), cloud storage, shared calendar, instant messaging, video conferencing services for public use. Google Apps for Education is a collaborating solutions offered by Google for the education institutions. Google Apps for Education provides unlimited cloud storage, can be used with google Chromebook devices, and has built-in classroom software which allows instructors and students to exchange their works. The Information Technology Center has completed the integration of Google Apps for Education with the university’s Identity System, everyone are welcome to use the service with their university’s network credentials.

構建無紙化會議設備      確保機密資料有效管控

本中心購進相關設備,配合Apple官方管理軟體,構建本校機密性無紙化會議系統。並結合身份認證與權限管控,確保機密會議資料的安全性。業於2月中旬舉辦人事室同仁講習,後續將安排行政單位同仁的教育訓練。待行動裝置的設備發配後實施,可減少會議資料的紙本列印及傳閱,不僅達到節能減碳並降低消耗紙張的成本,且可以避免人為疏忽造成機密外洩的疑慮,讓機密資料獲得有效管控。

To follow the university’s Green Campus initiatives, the ITC has procured equipment to facilitate paperless meeting mechanism for confidential meetings that typically required many paper copies of meeting materials. Initial training courses have been offered in February and more courses will be announced in the future.
