當Gmail遇上NTNU    電子收信發信兩相宜

Gmail是目前世界最多人使用的電子郵件服務，如果你有Gmail信箱，也習慣用Gmail的操作介面，可以將本校核發的電子郵件信箱整合到Gmail信箱，利用它來統一收發信，且仍保有 @ntnu.edu.tw 的名稱。…..請參考「如何利用Gmail來收發台師大的電子郵件」說明網頁。

Gmail is currently the most widely used e-mail service in the world. You may now preserve your NTNU email address while using Gmail. Please Refer to "How to use Gmail to send and receive NTNU email messages" help page.

Windows 10 上市     升級前務必備份資料

微軟最新版作業系統上市，本校預計於9月中旬取得Windows 10 教育版授權，屆時將提供線上下載及借用服務，但限已安裝隨機版作業系統者升級使用。系統升級有可能造成資料流失，請務必先行備份硬碟資料。<詳全文>

The university IT center will receive upgrade license for Windows 10 Education Edition in mid September. The lastest version of Microsoft Windows operating system is only avaliable to computers that are upgraded from a previously licensed windows installation due to the license agreement between the University and Microsoft. 資訊中心公館校區802電腦教室，更換41台主機為 Intel最新處理器及8G記憶體、內建讀卡機及燒錄機，配備22吋液晶螢幕，歡迎師生多加利用！

We have installed 41 new desktop PCs in computer lab 802, each with the latest Intel processor and 8GB RAM, built-in card reader, DVD-writer and 22-inch monitor.

提供各單位舉辦活動    線上繳費系統好方便

全校性金流平台擴大應用，公版報名暨線上繳費系統於8月11日正式上線啟用。該系統介接金流平台，不僅方便申請者線上完成報名及繳費，也可讓承辦單位獲取報名者資訊，提升作業效能。<詳全文>

we have expand the use of “University Financial Service Platform” with the online registration payment system. This online registration payment system which was launched on August 11th allows the event participants to register and make payment online, event organizers to obtain application information online, and to enchance operational efficiency.<More>

資工系張鈞法教授    接任資訊中心主任

本中心主任由資訊工程系張鈞法教授接任，張主任勉勵中心同仁應以「專業精進、熱誠互信」作為任事態度的核心精神，提供學校教職員生更優質的資訊服務。

Professor Chun-Fa Chang, from the department of Computer Science and
Information Engineering, now servers as the director of Information Technology Center. He encouraged colleagues to adopt "professional service with passion and trust" as the ITC core values and to provide high-quality information services to the university.
